Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the rights and obligations between Version Two s.r.o., with its registered seat at [DOPLNIŤ], Company ID (IČO): [DOPLNIŤ], Tax ID (DIČ): [DOPLNIŤ], VAT ID (IČ DPH): [DOPLNIŤ] (hereinafter the "provider" or "we"), and the user of the Expirator service (hereinafter the "user" or "you").
2. Service Description
Expirator is an application for tracking expiration dates, warranties and inventory for households and businesses. The service allows you in particular to:
- track expiration dates of food, medicine and other products,
- keep records of warranties and monitor stock levels, including low-stock alerts,
- add items by scanning barcodes,
- organize items into categories and locations,
- share access with family members or a team.
3. Eligibility and User Accounts
To use the service you must be able to enter into a binding agreement. When registering, you agree to provide true and complete information, maintain the security of your password and not provide access to your account to unauthorized persons. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
4. Subscriptions, Payments and Billing
The service is offered in different plans, including a free plan and paid plans. Payments for paid plans are processed by our payment processor. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel them. You can cancel your subscription at any time in account settings; you will keep access to paid features until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by applicable law and the terms stated at the time of ordering. Prices are shown including or excluding applicable taxes in accordance with applicable regulations; tax details: [DOPLNIŤ].
5. Acceptable Use
When using the service, it is prohibited to:
- violate applicable laws or the rights of third parties,
- attempt unauthorized access to the system or to other users' data,
- distribute malicious software or disrupt the operation of the service,
- abuse the service in a manner inconsistent with these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Expirator service, including the software, design and content we provide, is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the property of the provider or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the service beyond the right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
7. User Content and Data
You remain the owner of all data and content you enter into the service. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the service. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will always be available without interruption or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for data loss arising outside our control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account for violation of these Terms. We will inform you of any suspension or termination by email, unless prevented by legal reasons. You may also close your account at any time.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service a reasonable time before they take effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.
